Dr. Brace had the pleasure of seeing this 28-year-old patient who presented to us for assessment and management of her upper lip. She had used fillers in her upper lip for the past 6 years but wanted a more permanent solution of elevating her lip and reducing her philtrum size (or medial cleft, which is the vertical groove between the base of the nose and the border of the upper lip.) Dr. Brace performed an Upper Lip Lift under a local anaesthetic and the patient is now 1 full year out from her procedure and 6 months out from CO2 Laser for resurfacing of the scar.
