This lovely 70-year-old woman is seen 9 months out from an upper skin pinch blepharoplasty. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia and removes excess upper lid skin to create a more rested and open looking eye. It is a subtle but powerful change to brighten the eyes and is one of Dr. Brace’s most requested procedures. Upper lid blepharoplasty surgery is often paired with brow lifting to open the eyes more but in this case, it was not necessary. The scars from upper lid blepharoplasty, once healed, are next to impossible to see!
