Is there a consultation fee?
Absolutely not. Dr. Brace is happy to take you through a no-obligation consultation prior to making any financial commitments.
How do I book a consultation?
Start by filling out our consultation form. In the week following, expect a phone call from our knowledgeable Patient Care Coordinator, Brittany. This call will only be as long as you require to get through all your specific questions and to schedule your appointment with Dr. Brace.
How do payments work at Guelph Facial Plastics?
We understand that booking your procedure is an investment of both time and money. Upon booking your procedure or treatment, a 20 percent completely refundable deposit will be required. The final payment will be due two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment.
Does Guelph Facial Plastics offer financial help?

Where is the surgery?
Cosmetic surgeries are performed at our very own affiliated surgical centre Guelph Surgical Suites located on the main floor of our building.
Do I need to have someone with me the day of surgery?
Yes, you will require a caregiver (friend or family member) to be with you on the day of your procedure. They will need to come to the surgical centre and drive you home afterwards. You will need someone with you the first night after surgery. You will not be able to leave the surgical centre on your own after surgery.
How long does it take to schedule a surgery?
You’ll be able to schedule your procedure on the day of your consultation. Most surgeries are performed within roughly 4-6 weeks, however, non-surgical procedures can be as early as the same day as your consultation.
How long should I expect to be off work?
Downtime varies depending on the surgery or procedure, however, typically it’s one to three weeks. A discrete Doctor’s note can be provided the day of your procedure to be given to your employer if needed.
Will there be a fee for any of my follow up appointments following surgery?
No, all of your post procedure appointments are included in the cost of your surgery.
How many post-op appointments will I have after surgery?
You will have a series of post op appointments. Typically, one week is required to remove any sutures/casts/bandages. Dr. Brace will then want to see you in one month, three months, six months and one year.
When will I see my full result?
You will see the biggest changes in the first month following surgery, most of the swelling and bruising will be gone within that time frame. Depending on the surgery, results will continue to improve up to 6 months and for some procedures at the 1-year mark.
When will I be able to fly/travel after surgery?
Dr. Brace would like you to avoid travel for the first couple of weeks following surgery. If you are travelling here for the procedure we recommend staying for a minimum of 1 week following surgery. If you are planning to leave for a personal vacation, 2 weeks minimum recovery is advised.
